Carpet Unbeatable
Can auto body shops paint the interior of my car?
I am about to by a used car with blue interior, which I hate. Its the exact car that I want and the price is unbeatable so I’m going to buy it regardless of the interior color. I would like to paint the interior black, but am too afraid to do it myself. I’m not going to paint the seats or carpet or even the headliner. I will get all of that reupholstered with black fabric. However I would like to pay someone to paint the dash, door panels, etc. Do auto body shops do this? If so how do I find one near me? I live in Dallas, TX. Thanks in advanced! -Kevin
If this vehicle is from the 70′s or 80′s and has a Metal Interior like my old Silverado you can paint it. If it is plastic interior, I saw on one of the Spike TV Car shows that their is Automotive Grade Coloring that is like a rub that changes the color of Vinyl and plastic interiors. They did it on a old Green Interiored 70′s mussel convertible.
Best advice, go to Advance Auto, NAPA, Pep Boys, any of them and ask their advice. They sell this stuff as a living and if their is anything for the vehicle that can change the interior they should know.
